We are LONG overdue for some updates!
First I wanted to say that I visited our newest and only cloth diaper retail store this past weekend. So COOL! Vikki from Sonrise Diaper Service has opened a retail shop inside Polkadots Consignment Store in the Altamont/Guilderland area.
I was impressed with the quantity of diapers she had at the store. Mostly just covers and prefolds are available new (for now- Vikki is adding new stuff everyday, CottonBabies stuff arriving soon), but there were tons of used cloth diapers available in all kinds and sizes. Some really great accessory products were available also like cloth diaper safe rash crème, wipes, wet bags, etc…
It is definitely worth going to have a look. From what I hear, Vikki is usually there on Saturday mornings to help you through the products. They open at 10am on Saturdays: a perfect mid-errand excursion for me and my family : )

Cloth Diaper Swap and Potluck
I can’t wait for this one! Come and bring your used or new, no longer needed cloth diapers and accessories for sale, barter or trade. Pin or clip a label on each item with your name and asking price. If you’d like to sell, but can’t make the party I’d be happy to be your vendor. Mail me your diapers and asking prices- I’ll be in charge of selling and I’ll send you the money and any unsold diapers/accessories back at the end of the sale.
(don’t forget- this is a potluck, bring a favorite dish to share)
